To PDF
Selecting this pane will convert to a PDF file using LilyPond's conversion capability.
LilyPond must be installed on the local machine and its location set under the tool's LilyPond/PDF tab for this pane to appear.
When converting from a MusicXML file or a database record, the file or record is first converted to a LilyPond file according to the process described elsewhere.
- Select the "Choose PDF Output Filename" link to navigate to the output file location, or enter the fully-specified location (location including folder/directory name) in the text box.
- Select the "Open PDF file on completion" checkbox to automatically open the converted PDF file when the conversion is complete.
If the output filename doesn't have a .pdf file extension, the .pdf file extension will be added.
A PDF reader must be installed on the local machine and its location set under the tool's LilyPond/PDF tab for this checkbox to appear.
